    Established in 2018, Ballet Co.Laboratory’s mission is to create, develop and inspire artists and communities through collaboration with the art of ballet. Jacob serves as the resident Production Stage Manager & Lighting Designer.

    Professional ballet company in Bloomington, MN
    Production Stage Manager

    In his Stage Manager position at Continental Ballet Company, Jacob led all stage and technical aspects of the company’s shows both at home in Bloomington, MN at the Bloomington Center for the Arts and on tour at nearly a dozen theatres in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Jacob has also served as Lighting Designer for all productions.

    Since CCDE’s founding in January 2011, Jacob has been their Stage Manager and Lighting Designer for both Minnesota Fringe Festival productions as well as their first full length show at The Ritz Theater in Minneapolis.

    A local group of professional ballet dancers focusing on contemporary work.
    Production Stage Manager

    Gray Matter had it’s World Premier at the 2013 Minnesota Fringe Festival. This contemporary ballet explores the mysteries of consciousness through solo, partnered and group movement. The work questions and examines René Descartes’ idea “I think, therefore I am.”

    Lighting Design
    ABAA is a ballet and dance school located in Edina, Minnesota and was founded in 2012.
    Lighting Designer

    In this studio’s first ever Ballet Arts Youth Ensemble Dance Concert in 2013, Jacob was asked to design the lighting for the show that took place at the James Sewell Ballet Tek Box Theater at The Cowles Center in Minneapolis, MN. Jacob has returned annually for this production.
